The real core of the Machiavelli Center is the International Section of the Dipartimento di Studi sullo Stato of the University of Florence. In the past twenty years, the International Section has been an active part, and often a promoter, of a number of many multinational research projects, such as "Power Politics in� Europe". The most recent research project coordinated by Prof. Di Nolfo focuses on "From the Hopes of Helsinki to the Uncertainties of the new International Order (1975-1991)". The International Section of the Department also includes a Ph.D. program in History of International Relations coordinated by Professor Ennio Di Nolfo. The section is also a participant in several EU Programs, such as Socrates and Tempus. |
