The real core of the Machiavelli Center is the International Section of the Dipartimento di Studi sullo Stato of the University of Florence. In the past twenty years, the International Section has been an active part, and often a promoter, of a number of many multinational research projects, such as "Power Politics inEurope". The most recent research project coordinated by Prof. Di Nolfo focuses on "Raw Materials in International Politics: A Historical Approach". The International Section of the Department also includes a Ph.D. program in History of International Relations coordinated by Professor Ennio Di Nolfo. The sectionis also a participant in several EU Programs, such as Socrates and Tempus.

Researcher in History of International Relations, University of Florence September 1996. Associate Professor of History of International Relations since 1998. Since 1985 she has been a member of the Editorial Board of the review "Storia delle relazioni internazionali" and in 1993 she became its editor-in-chief.

Laurea (University of Florence, 1974). Junior Associate Member at St. Antony's College, Oxford, 1975-76.Researcher at the University of Florence, 1982. Dr. Enardu coordinates and is responsible for the wide network of exchange programs of which the Department is the center, including the Erasmus, Socrates, and Tempus-Phare programs.
